Serious Casual is a Horde guild on Mal'Ganis US.

WoW shouldn't be a job and we won't treat it like one, but if there are people out there that think wiping is more fun than winning, they aren't in this guild.

Mission Statement
This is a leveling guild, intended to prepare for WotLK. There are a lot of very competent people here, who generally don't enjoy putting up with bullshit or terribleness. If you are willing to make an effort not to waste our time, we in turn will strive to provide you with the same courtesy. In the interim, the levels will go by and the random pug raids/farming will be occupied with educational discussion in guild regarding the merits of Windwall totem's general superiority.
There are no plans to be a super amazing raiding monstrosity at this time.
There are no plans to be a super amazing pvp monstrosity at this time.
There are no plans to be a super amazing emotionally angsty monstrosity, ever.
There are certainly plans to be considered non-terrible by every pug we ever lead or participate in.
If you're looking for a leveling guild with a bunch of adults and a generally competent player base, this is the place for you.
If you're looking for a sneaky way into EJ or hoping to raid the Sunwell, or some other bizarre goal not included in "Prepare for WotLK" get the hell out and die.

Membership Requirements

• Benefactor of the EJ forum. You will be asked to provide your forum name before you receive an invite to keep public notes updated.
• Guild members may recommend another player to the guild. This player will be invited on the word of the member and the member is responsible for ensuring that they follow the general guidelines of the guild.

Recommendations should be limited to family, friends or other people that you trust to more or less fulfill the mission statement above. There is no limit on the number of recommendations a member may make, but be discrete. We aren't interested in inviting your entire guild.

We don't have a forum. There is no formal leadership at this point since this is something of an experiment.
